Coral reef science aims to construct a model of reef response to the multiple stresses, and to develop monitoring and diagnosis procedures based on the model to propose a guideline for threshold level of the stresses, restoration and regeneration of the ecosystem. It will provide a scientific basis to reconstruct a symbiotic and coexistence system between human being and coral reefs, and ecosystems in general for the future generations
